THE BELLCOTE

During reconstruction work carried out in the late 1990s, it was found that the bell housed in the bellcote is dated 1693, and bears the inscription,

"Hir I am safe and soud to cal the ded in to the ground"

The Bellcote appears to bear architectural similarities to designs of of Williams family properties, such as the nearby Maesgwyn house, designed by architect PF Robinson.
